Overview

S Casa is a luxury home and lifestyle store in Hyderabad. Retailing brands like Armani Dada, Molteni & Co. and B&B Italia among others, the owner, Nisha Manghnani wanted the store's identity to reflect the nature of brands she stocked- luxury brands at the intersection of fashion and interior design.

The brand was launched with its first store opening in January 2017, spread over three floors in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The Key to Luxury Living

I designed a symbol that could instantly describe the brand and what it was all about, using an elegantly designed key that nestled a subtle 'S+C' monogram.

Rendered in fine gold outlines on a royal blue, the symbol instantly projects the luxurious nature of the brand.

The logotype set in contemporary sans serif, accompanies the symbol. A mnemonic derived from the key, links the 'S' and 'Casa'

The colour palette of blue and white, with accents of gold helps set the store's logo apart from the logos of the brands it retails, something that we found was very important, since the logos often appear together. Since most of the brands S Casa represented have monochromatic word marks, our decorative gold logo boldly stands out amongst them.
